Eleanor Foster married Robert Lansing who served as Secretary of State under Woodrow Wilson. Foster was Secretary of State (1892-93) for President Benjamin Harrison. The Dulles family has served the government through many generations. I was aware of the Dulles brothers but it did not register with me that they were both in power at the same time. I knew some of the information contained in the book but this is the first time I had seen in presented in this manner.
